Supriyadi is Indonesian national hero, leader of the rebellion forces Fatherland Defenders (PETA) against the occupying Japanese forces in February 1945 in Blitar. He was appointed as minister of public security at Indonesia's first cabinet, but never showed up to occupy the post.
